Having first been involved with Carlisle City FC in 1991, I have watched the club evolve from 2 senior teams to over 20 Senior, Junior boys and junior girls teams. The structure of the club has come a long way too now, being a Community Club Charter Standard status club, with an Executive Committee and a full Management Committee, which has helped develop the clubs status to become a great brand name in the City for 6-18yr olds who want to be involved in local football.
With the clubs size being so vast and having over 300 members I thought it should have a mini bus to assist the various teams travel arrangements as and when required.
To achieve this I have decided with the backing of the club, to attempt to raise enough money to purchase a mini bus.
My challenge is to walk from John O'Groats to Carlisle in 14 days, which is over 400 miles. The challenge is great but so is the reward, so I would appreciate it, when reading this that you could make a donation towards the challenge, all donations are very welcome.
